The Milken Institute ranked San Antonio No. 1 on its annual list of Best Performing Cities Index.
The Alamo City topped the list of 200 large metros, ranked on economic growth and prosperity. The 2011 index takes into account jobs, wages and technology performance.
San Antonio jumped 13 places to land the top spot on the Milken report. DOHA (Reuters) - Hackers are bombarding the world's computer controlled energy sector, conducting industrial espionage and threatening potential global havoc through oil supply disruption.
Oil company executives warned that attacks were becoming more frequent and more carefully planned.
"If anybody gets into the area where you can control opening and closing of valves, or release valves, you can imagine what happens," said Ludolf Luehmann, an IT manager at Shell Europe's biggest company .

The deputy assistant director of the FBI's Cyber Division says hackers recently accessed the infrastructure of three cities through SCADA systems
Hackers recently accessed the critical infrastructure of three unnamed cities by compromising their SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) systems, the deputy assistant director of the FBI's Cyber Division said today.
